Markie Post, an American actress, is famous for playing the role of Christine Sullivan on NBC's Night Court. She also appeared as Terri Michaels in the role of a bail bondswoman in ABCs show The Fall Guy. Alongside acting, she also has experience in game shows. The daughter of the scientist Richard F. Post and his poet wife Marylee Post was raised in Walnut Creek and Stanford alongside her siblings. Las Lomas High School was where she enrolled and played football. She studied briefly at Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. Her previous marriage was with Stephen Knox. In 1982 she was married to writer/actor Michael A. Ross with whom she has two daughters. A wonderful actress and an ideal mother and wife. Post is an inspiration for a lot of people in Hollywood. Some of her early credits include a pilot of the 1981 Barnaby Jones, Simon & Simon: Details at Eleven, which aired in season 1 episode 2 of The Greatest American Hero and episodes from The A-Team. In 1983 she portrayed various characters in The Only Church in Town and Hot Styles in 1984. She was Diane Chambers' best friend in Cheers and Buck Rogers, the ABC sitcom Cheers and Buck Rogers, in which she played the character of Diane's most trusted close friend.
