Eve Maughan was born on November 22, 1982 in London, England. She is the daughter of Trevor Eve's and Sharon Maughan's. Jack and George, her younger brothers, were born in London and raised among the United Kingdom and Los Angeles. She was a student at Bedales School, and took A-Levels at London's Westminster School. She was a student of English at St Catherine's College Oxford during her summer break. While in Oxford University she performed involved in the student productions of An Ideal Husband Animal Crackers. (which was on tour for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.)
