Ashley Darby has been a popular music and television personality in the United States for several years. She rose to fame after becoming Miss District of Columbia, in 2011. Since the start the first season of The Real Housewives of Potomac in the beginning of January, 2016 the actress has had a major role in this show. Ashley Darby is an entrepreneur who is passionate about hospitality philanthropy and the holistic approach to health. Ashley was born in Maryland and is known for her fiery character, was instilled by her parents with the determination to be successful. As the oldest of her family Ashley has had to manage multiple jobs to help support her single mom and younger siblings. To help support their parents Ashley worked as a bartender when she attended her studies at the University of Maryland. Ashley's skills as a bartender were observed through the Miss District of Columbia Pageant who awarded her the crown in 2011. Ashley was then introduced to Michael Darby who was a millionaire Australian in the real estate business. Michael was 29 years older than Ashley. Ashley found herself in a completely new world. Ashley married Michael in 2018, and they became parents to Dean Michael (born in 2019) and Dylan Matthew (2021). After eight years married, they split in 2022. Ashley is a yoga certified instructor. She believes the importance of balance to inner peace as well as outer physical fitness. Even though she's having the most enjoyable time of her life, Ashley is working on the best way to manage love, family, business, and motherhood. Ashley has worked as television personality. In the beginning, she was a bartender because her family was in need of cash. The desire for fashion and entertainment began when she was a young girl. She entered the pageant and gave all she had to it. The contest was won by her. Miss District of Columbia title in 2011 as well. She then participated in Miss America, but she was not crowned Miss America. However she did be awarded a scholarship. She received a $5000 scholarship as well as she also received the John Curran Award for Non-Finalist Interview.
