Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is well-known for her lead roles in numerous television shows, however, she also has impressive roles in film. The actress is popular on Canadian and American TV. Emily first became interested when she watched her sibling Katie working on a film. Once she discovered her passion in acting she enrolled herself in classes to learn about it and began auditioning. She was initially cast in commercials, but she was not cast until receiving a callback for the Canadian children's horror television show Are You Fearful of Darkness? In one scene, she was seen without saying a word. The first time she was seen on screen was at the age of 15, when she was cast in the show on WB's Glory Days as a regular. Emily's talent was noticed by Greg Berlanti after the series was cancelled after just nine episodes. He subsequently cast Emily as a character on Everwood, his new TV show. Emily has also been a dancer as well as a photographer. She was listed as among the top 20 Teen's actors. Maxim listed her at 51 on their Hot 100 of 2014.
